About AndamanSea.com

An independent guide to one of the world’s great island coasts, written for people who want to do more than lie on one beach.

AndamanSea.com exists to help you put an Andaman trip together: which islands suit you, how the boats connect them, when the marine parks are open, and which of the thousands of tours on sale are worth your day.

What we cover

  • Fifteen islands and hubs — from Phuket and Krabi to the Similans, Koh Lipe, Langkawi and the far side of the sea.
  • Island-hopping routes, ferries, piers and airports, with realistic journey times.
  • Seasons, monsoon closures, national park fees and rules.
  • Tours ranked honestly and updated as ratings change.
  • Where to stay, hub by hub.

How we research

Schedules, seasons and fees are checked against operators, national park announcements and booking platforms, and reviewed regularly. Tour ratings, review counts and prices come from GetYourGuide’s partner feed; hotel scores from Trip.com. Where something changes often — Maya Bay’s rules, park opening dates, access to Myanmar — we say so rather than pretend to certainty.

How the site is funded

We earn a commission when you book a tour through GetYourGuide or a hotel through Trip.com using our links, at no extra cost to you. That is the only way this site makes money. No operator pays to be listed or ranked. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
